Music is available at all levels at CMA. Younger students incorporate singing into their daily activities through songs with motions and poems. Formal music lessons are introduced at the primary level. The students are introduced to the instruments of the orchestra and have an opportunity to try out instruments from each group. Students learn basic music theory including how to read music, count, and follow a beat.

Elementary students are introduced to the recorder and basic keyboard skills. Along with theory, the older students learn some music history. We study musical eras as well as some of the great composers in history. Further individual study of composers and musical groups is encouraged.
